Michael Brecker
     A major figure in contemporary instrumental music, tenor saxophonist and composer Michael Brecker is an eight-time Grammy-winner, and the first to win both the "Best Jazz Instrumental Performance" and "Best Jazz Instrumental Solo" two years in a row.


Bob Mintzer
    Diversification has always been a focus for Bob Mintzer.  Aside from being a tenor and soprano saxophonist, Bob also plays flutes, clarinets, EWI, and is world reknown as a composer, arranger, and educator.


Gerald Albright
     A native Californian, Gerald Albright grew up in South Central Los Angeles. After high school, he attended the University of Redlands where he received a B.S. degree in Business Management, minoring in Music.

Bob Berg
    Born in 1951, Bob Berg began his musical experience at the age of six, studying classical piano at his home in Brooklyn N.Y. He began playing saxophone at the age of 13, and soon thereafter attended the High School of the Performing Arts.

IAJE
     With a mission to ensure the continued growth and development of jazz through education and outreach, the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE) serves 8,000 members in 40 countries. A voluntary non-profit organization, IAJE initiates programs which nurture the understanding and appreciation of jazz and its heritage, provides leadership to educators regarding curriculum and performance, and assists teachers, students, and artists with information and resources.
